It's official: there are a lot of independent labels. EVP couldn't be happier. If there's music to be made, then it is made to be released by any means necessary.
Raleigh six-piece Annuals seem to back us up. The group, along with unnamed friends, have started Terpsikhore. The label will christen its arrival with releases from Sunfold and What Laura Says.

Sunfold is Annuals guitarist/vocalist Kenny Florence's latest and most potent collection of songs to date, under its newest incarnation (formerly Sedona). Introduced through the recent Wet Zoo split EP w/Annuals (Canvasback), Kenny's full-length debut, Toy Tugboats, will be released on Terspikhore July 22. The second Terpsikhore release is an incredibly like-minded act out of Tempe, Arizona (the label's first and only out-of-state signing - shown in top photo) called What Laura Says, showcasing their reworked debut album, Thinks and Feels, out August 19.
