It's time to put our favorite songs to bed before our Top 50 Albums of 2007 commences next Monday.

The Cherry Blossoms - "Mighty Mississippi"
We love foot stomping good times and the Nashville natives deliver it in bunches. The Cherry Blossoms are country sing-alongs and back porch jams that make you feel right at home.
Deerhunter - "Cryptograms"
We, too, fell under Brandon Cox's spell but nothing hypnotized us quite like Cryptograms' title track. There's a pervasive evil underneath the blend of Brit-influenced pop that speaks to us.
The Fiery Furnaces - "The Philadelphia Grand Jury" The Fiery Furnaces - "Ex-Guru"
What do you want us to say? You either dig the Chicago-based bro/sis duo or find them self-fellating. I think it's clear where we stand. Prog has become so serious its impossible to enjoy the genre, but the Furnaces have demystified the Yes and Rush rip-offs with ADD-riddled indie pop.
K-Os - "Electrik Heat: The Seekwill" K-Os - "Valhalla"
EVP representin' Canadian hip-hop! K-Os is the most under-appreciated hip-hop artist. K-Os just speaks to us.
The Michael Flower Band - "Balinese Falsehood"
Raw skronk riffage during 8 of the most blistering, mind-melting minutes you'll spend in front of stereo speakers (tiny iPod earphones will do this no justice). Flower unleashes his inner David St. Hubbins (exploding drummer included).
The Ohsees - "It Killed Mom"
Last year it was "The Guilded Cunt," this year its "It Killed Mom." How the Ohsees craft these dirty ditties, we'll never know. Here's hoping '08 brings more naughtiness and grit from the Ohsees.
Panda Bear - "Search for Delicious"
"Search for Delicious" is the feeling of black holes and flickering stars enveloping your person as you slowly drift in outer space on a never-ending quest for a never-found resource. The faint noise of planets rotating; the interruption of distorted radio signals; the hope that it never has to end...
Tigersmilk - "Falling Signals Rising"
Tigersmilk - "Love Into Earth's Shadow-Liquid"
...it doesn't*
