On the heels of Shepherds' first proper full-length (a few other, shorter mediums exist) Loco Hills, it's a good time as any to give the indie super-collective a little slice of equal time.
Shepherds features Jeremy Earl (Woods, Meneguar), Jarvis Taveniere (Meneguar, The Vanishing Voice), Christian DeRoeck (Woods, Meneguar) and G. Lucas Crane (Nonhorse, The Vanishing Voice) contorting and manipulating pop and pysch into hypnotic collages. Full of ethereal noize and visceral power, Shepherds are bridging the gap between outsider folk and accesible indie melodies with regional flavor. The crew may call NYC home but there's a lot of sound gathered from all parts of the good ol' US of A creating an aural melting pot.
